The ATO has invited tax professionals with small business clients (those with 19 or less employees) to take part in focus group sessions about Single Touch Payroll. Single Touch Payroll focus group sessions
“We are looking for tax agents, BAS agents and bookkeepers and their small business clients to participate in the sessions,” the ATO says.
Focus groups will examine what Single Touch Payroll is, what it will mean for you and your clients’ existing business processes, and give you the opportunity to provide feedback on how Single Touch Payroll will affect small businesses.
Focus groups will be held from March 20 to March 29 in the following cities and will run for approximately 90 minutes. An online webinar option is also available for those who are unable to attend these locations.
